The Trust hopes to give some modest bursaries in 2012. These will be to help towards full-time study in the United Kingdom by persons of Estonian stock, in subjects the trustees deem beneficial to the Estonian public or the Estonian diaspora.
The level of study would normally be undergraduate or graduate. Awards are subject to unconditional acceptance on a suitable course.
Selection of beneficiaries will be at the trust's discretion within funds available, probably of order £500 or £1000 per one-year bursary. Those unfamiliar with living costs in the UK should note that our awards are not large enough to be decisive whether to come to study in this country. Beneficiaries would need to be operating a UK bank account.
